北京德云社是以弘扬北方民族文化、培养曲艺人才、服务大众为主旨的曲艺演出团体。上世纪九十年代中期相声艺术走进低谷时，在老艺术家的支持下郭德纲组织起了当初的演出社团“北京相声大会”，经历了二十一年的风雨历程走到今日实属艰辛，然值得欣慰的是经过郭德纲先生和众多位新老相声演员的不懈努力，德云社正在逐步走向辉煌。德云社在各地的演出持续火爆，也从一定程度上说明了好的相声在各地都是有很大的市场。如今，“到德云社听相声”已经成为一种时尚文化消费。

郭德纲

“非著名相声演员”、电影、电视剧演员、电视脱口秀主持人。1973年生于天津，自幼酷爱民间艺术，1979年投身艺坛，师从侯耀文，得到多位相声名家的指点、传授。其间又潜心学习了京剧、评剧、河北梆子等剧种，辗转于梨园多年的经历对丰富自己的相声表演起了十分重要的作用，通过对多种艺术形式的借鉴，逐渐地形成了自己的表演风格。
