古希腊神话中，塞壬以天籁歌喉诱航海者触礁，船员尽丧其腹，貌美却心如蛇蝎。这古老传说今化身为挪威哥特金属乐队Sirenia，其绝美女主唱嗓音如塞壬再世，魅惑众生，令人沉沦于生命、死亡与人性纠葛的金属漩涡。

Sirenia（海妖）乐队，2001年诞生于挪威，以交响/哥特金属风格独树一帜。乐队成员有Morten Veland、Kristian Gundersen、Kristian Olav、Ailyn和Jonathan 。其音乐配器丰富多元，既有键盘的电子合成器营造神秘氛围，又有变形吉他带来狂野力量，辅以天使般纯净的女声与两种高低死腔的交织，宛如天堂与地狱的碰撞。大气的唱诗班与悲伤的小提琴，更添一抹史诗色彩。
