来自芝加哥传奇乐团Tortoise 打破了人们对「摇滚乐」的想像；标志性的复合拍随着时间越来越丰富。他们的演奏技巧、和弦的观念比较像爵士乐手，声响的美感却接近电子音乐，有的时候听起来很机械化，有的时候却呈现出非常抒情的叙事。

从90 年代到现在，用在他们身上的音乐名词很多，除了最常见的POST ROCK，也有人说他们是Krautrock，Dub Music 等等，每个阶段都不太一样，不变的就是他们总是听起来很有趣。除了他们音乐呈现的精准、理性，观众们更爱看他们专注演奏的超技、以及多重乐器互换的默契合作这一次在台湾的演出也是大家最期待的双鼓编制。

2025 年，已经出版7 张专辑的Tortoise 推出了他们的第八张专辑《Touch》，那是一张令人惊艳的专辑，听起来游刃有余，而且他们居然比以前更强了！！！看他们现场演出时一个个脸上一派轻松，声音却如此的精准，更是不可思议。

《TNT》、《Tortoise》以至于《Touch》，Tortoise 从水晶唱片时代到现在一路都深得台湾乐迷的心，现在的他们白发朱颜，对复合拍驾轻就熟，稳健而精准地控制各种声响的细节，请一起来感受这奇妙的律动。
