故事梗概

建文元年，燕王朱棣以清君侧之名发动夺取侄子建文帝皇位的战争，史称“靖难之役”。如今宣德元年，朱瞻基即位，他的叔叔汉王觊觎着皇位，意图重演靖难。盛世前景未稳，旧伤未愈，那场朱家叔侄之争留下的战乱遗孤，也散落世间各寻活路。

此时，神秘项链「四海之泪」忽然现世，传闻它是郑和自海外带回的建文帝信物，旋即掀起了一系列荒唐诡谲之事。靠着坑蒙拐骗得到皇帝赏识的蛐蛐锦衣卫风舞阳，本该赴京师献蛐蛐，不料，蛐蛐意外变成了项链，蛐蛐锦衣卫变成了逃犯。漩涡中心的小人物，勾连着东厂、反王、暗卫、皇室都卷入其中。危机时刻，亦敌亦友的东厂督公梅霜花，将他诱往汉王封地，他才得知一条项链竟能让乱世再起，自己的身世，也远没有想象的那么简单……

靖难之役带来的因果，带着形形色色的人物悉数登场。而在暗夜中独行的少年，终将化作盛世里耀眼的刀刃。在帝王间的争斗中窥见生生不息的仇恨，以江山作为棋盘步步为营，化作历史长河中的刀与花。
