四季更迭，万物循生，一组《四季》经久不衰。维瓦尔第的小提琴协奏曲名作《四季》作于1725年，今年正是它的300周年诞辰。本乐季晚高峰音乐会的最后一场演出，将再次致敬维瓦尔第，为乐迷们献上这首稀世珍品。

在小提琴协奏曲套曲《四季》中，作曲家以火一般的热情探索了新的器乐表达形式，旋律优美，技巧繁富，形象生动，依次描摹了春的欢欣、夏的愉悦、秋的丰收和冬的凛冽，自问世以来，就备受演奏家的青睐和乐迷的喜爱。

在维瓦尔第时代，通常认为只有声乐才能明确地抒写故事和场景，但维瓦尔第用《四季》为器乐标题音乐构建了一座里程碑。他在总谱上为每个季节都题写了诗句，并把诗歌的每一行都和音乐对应起来，从而使音乐描绘的意境更加明确，也使人们大为震惊——原来器乐也可以如此具体地描摹故事，勾勒画面。

随着“春临大地，众鸟欢唱，和风吹拂，溪流低语”，我们仿佛看到牧羊人在沉睡，而在那令人躁动不安的盛夏，“骄阳似火，人畜口干舌燥”，顷刻间“电闪雷鸣，冰雹打落了庄稼”。时光流逝，到了“农夫载歌载舞，喜庆丰收，痛饮美酒纵情欢乐”的金秋，“晨曦初露，猎手们披挂出门，猎枪鸣响，猎狗狂吠”。最后，“冰天雪地，寒风刺骨”，这里既有壁炉的温暖，又有冰上滑行的谐趣。这一幕幕富有戏剧性和烟火气的画面，以音乐的形式清晰明了地传达给了听众，也是这组套曲历经几个世纪依然久演不衰的奥秘。
