北京京剧院
北京京剧院成立于1979年，是北京市文化和旅游局主管的公益二类事业单位，是原文化部评选的国家重点京剧院团之一。剧院前身为北京京剧团、北京市京剧团和北京实验京剧团，梅兰芳、尚小云、程砚秋、荀慧生和马连良、谭富英、张君秋、裘盛戎、赵燕侠等京剧艺术大师，为剧院留下了极其宝贵的艺术财富。现有演职员480人，队伍实力雄厚、行当齐全、梯队合理、流派纷呈。王蓉蓉、杜镇杰、李宏图、迟小秋、朱强、张慧芳、胡文阁等是当今最具影响力的京剧名家。
剧院现有一团、梅兰芳京剧团、青年团、演出培训中心、舞美中心、综合业务部、创作（研究）部、市场开发部、谭派艺术研究所等9个创作、演出、研究、推广、普及业务部门和党群工作部、综合管理部、财务资产部、人力资源部等4个管理部门。
北京京剧院立足传统，亦不断创作推出既不脱离京剧本体又彰显当代审美和创新精神的新编剧目。几十年来，积累了300余部常演剧目，其中以《赵氏孤儿》《锁麟囊》《太真外传》《凤还巢》等传统剧目260余部，新编剧目60余部。2019年，剧院成立了传统剧目工作室，旨在挖掘整理、传承发展一些濒临失传的流派传统剧目，两年来已挖掘整理传统剧目近20部。
建院40年来，剧院创作多部脍炙人口的新编戏，其中《宰相刘罗锅》《画龙点睛》《洛神赋》《梅兰芳》《风雨同仁堂》《圣洁的心灵——孔繁森》《下鲁城》和小剧场京剧《马前泼水》《浮生六记》等先后获得多项国家级大奖。
