踏入40 周年，陈慧娴此次演唱会采用「花」作为主题，由初开到盛放，展现了她不同阶段歌唱事业上的转变，连演唱会海报都化身为一朵盛放的红色花朵。陈慧娴表示，“以前的演唱会，我曾尝试过很多不同的造型，但这次我更想做回一个纯粹的自己。我觉得我的事业就像一次又一次的花期一样，每一次的花期完结，大家都觉得我好像就消失了一样，但其实我只是在好好准备自己，等待下一次的花期出现。其实每一个人的人生都是这样，总会有高有低，但我非常幸运，因为粉丝总会很有耐心的期待我的每一次花期出现。”
