香港知名男歌手，于美国夏威夷出生，并先后于上海和广州生活，于1998年定居香港。方大同的爸爸是鼓手，所以从小他就受了不少音乐的熏陶。听着R&B，soul音乐长大，方大同对音乐有自己的无师自通：“从小到大，没有人教我怎么弹琴，我三四岁就喜欢唱歌了，然后就是乐器，吉他、钢琴、打鼓都是自学的，虽然我爸爸就是打鼓的，但他也没有教过我应该如何打鼓，因为他打鼓，所以家里有鼓，我就自己乱打，后来慢慢就会了。”乐器玩通了，方大同就开始自己创作，不过他创作的歌都是R&B，soul类型的歌曲，有些复古的意味。他于2005年11月发表首张个人专辑《Soul Boy》。他是一个在香港罕有的创作R&B及灵魂乐作品的唱作人。代表作品：《Soul Boy》，《爱爱爱》，《三人游》，《够不够》。2017年5月16日入围金曲奖最佳男歌手奖。
