红蚂蚁，是台湾第一个以乐队形态灌录唱片的团体。红蚂蚁是一个学生乐团，团长兼鼓手沈光远（後来任滚石唱片制作部经理）与主唱罗紘武是高中时的同学，组团时才20岁，怀抱理想、思想敏锐。罗紘武的声音浑厚、醉人，应验了里面的一首歌——《爱情酿的酒》。他们在1985年推出的《红蚂蚁》专辑，是一张具有歌坛历史意义的经典唱片。即使以现在的眼光来看，音乐也没有落伍的感觉，而相反其吉他的演奏、歌曲的演唱都杰出不凡，经得起反覆咀嚼。整张唱片虽然只有七首歌曲，但音乐表现相当丰富，就像一口深不可测的井。
