十鼓，是台南谢十先生于2000年成立的十鼓击乐团，“十鼓击乐团”的前身为“谢十鼓术击乐团”，以台南为根据地，主要精神是传创台湾土本文化，发扬鼓乐艺术薪传。乐团之所以取名“十鼓”，是因为谢十先生认为“十”字代表鼓棒交叠，汇集十方的能量，赋予鼓术更大的生命力，共同凝聚一股团结的力量。谢十先生坚持的理念是以传创本土击乐艺术为定位，希望唤起国人对传统鼓乐的重视，并集结所有鼓术爱好者，共同建立属于这块土地的鼓术风格，有鉴于此，“十鼓”坚持以传创本土击乐艺术为定位，期望藉此唤醒国人对传统鼓术的重视，并抛砖引玉鼓励专业人士，持续为台湾鼓乐创作的勇气与信心，并且集结所有鼓术爱好者，共同建立属于这块土地的鼓术风格，更期望能使台湾在世界上成为著名的“鼓乐之岛”。
