Death In Vegas无论在英国的吉他音乐潮流还是电子音乐潮流中都占有自己的一席之地.Death In Vegas在传统英伦吉他流行音乐的基础上，融汇了Trip-Hop节拍、人声的这种做法，在如今看来已经是不新鲜了，并且类似的还有更早的Bowery Electric。但在Death In Vegas的手上，摇滚和电子就象是雪碧和酒，两者发生了一番奇妙的化学反应。最初Death In Vegas的1997年第一张大碟《Dead Elvis》还是在小心翼翼地尝试着电子元素的融入，直到两年后的第二张大碟《The Contino Sessions》才开始真正大胆地将Trip-Hop节拍、人声和吉他噪音共冶一炉，调制出一杯味道奇特的美酒。不过和Bowery Electric后期保守不同的是，Death In Vegas并没有放弃实验的步伐，2002年的第三张大碟《Scorpio Rising》再次邀请到了许多非主流音乐界的主唱来担任人声，但遗憾的是Death In Vegas太迁就这些乐队主唱自己的嗓音特色，而完全失去了Death In Vegas自己的音乐个性，给人的感觉更象是仅仅由Death In Vegas出面邀请了一帮乐队朋友做了一张摇滚合集而已。
