这一版《罗密欧与朱丽叶》将带领我们进入浪漫爱情的世界。这种爱无所不能，坚不可摧，如此盲目，又如此强大，甚至死亡也无法战胜它。而在自我中心、自私自利、自我放纵成为时代症候的今天，这个故事该如何移植到现代社会？

葡萄牙库伦舞团 Quorum Dance Company

葡萄牙库伦舞团由舞团艺术总监、编舞、领舞丹尼尔·卡多索创立于2005年，是世界一流的现代舞团，以细腻精致的高水准舞蹈作品著称，在当代舞蹈界享有盛誉，迄今已呈现了丹尼尔·卡多索的多部作品，并与伊兹克·加利利、谢欣、唐纳德·伯德、里奥尔·塔瓦瑞、芭芭拉·格里吉、撒迪厄斯·戴维斯等约15位客座编舞家合作。

舞团共创作了70多部作品。其中，丹尼尔·卡多索的《命运之舞》曾在11个国家上演；由中葡联合制作、丹尼尔·卡多索与特邀编导谢欣共创的《春之祭》在上海东方艺术中心中国首演；纪念葡萄牙“四·二五”革命50周年的《VOZ》同样由丹尼尔·卡多索创作。

舞团的严谨和专业精神使其频繁收到国内外剧院和机构的邀约。经过20年深耕，舞团平均每年在葡萄牙各地举办约50场演出，全球演出足迹已遍布18个国家和地区，包括丹麦、美国、波兰、新加坡、中国、塞浦路斯、塞尔维亚、厄瓜多尔、荷兰、泰国、阿尔及利亚、西班牙、德国、瑞士、罗马尼亚、芬兰等。各大媒体对舞团的积极评价进一步提高了其国际认可度，舞团的艺术和编舞水准再次脱颖而出。

2009年，舞团在第一届也是唯一一届葡萄牙舞蹈大奖中荣获“最佳当代舞团”称号，并在第14届西班牙卡斯蒂利亚-莱昂舞蹈节上凭借《命运之舞》被评为“最佳舞团”（并列）。
