MIQ，原艺名MIO是1955年出生的动漫歌曲前辈级歌手。MIQ同样拥有不少我们熟悉不过的作品，其中最著名的，是重战机L-Gaim的主题曲エルガイム-Time for L.GAIM-）和机动战士高达0083的OP2 MEN OF DESTINY。魔装机神主题曲烈风！疾风！塞巴斯塔！在LIVE上最早是由水木兄贵，影山长老和MIQ一起合唱的喔！另外，在日本的SRS上MIQ还和水木兄贵、影山长老等人一起演绎过包括时を越えて、钢の魂、マジンガーZ等知名歌曲！
这位兴趣是“和朋友一起喝酒”的阿姨也是80年代的Anison的名歌手之一。虽然比前面的堀江女王要大两岁，但是由于她出道远比堀江晚，首个动画歌曲作品是在TV动画《战斗机甲XABUNGLE》里面的插曲《Hey You》，晚了有13年的时间，所以把她划到第2代，也就是和影山同期的歌手中。说来MIQ大姐还是一位才女，在鸟取地方长大，后来进入了著名的早稻田大学文学部读书。虽然她的原唱作品不多，但是都是很耐听的歌曲。象是上面所提到的SUNRISE四大真实系机器人动画主题曲（或者插曲）以及许多游戏的主题歌等。在出道后，她的歌曲支持率屡创新高，畅销单曲接连不断，因此她也获得了日本专为Anison歌手准备的アニメージュグランプリ中的最佳女歌手奖。特别要提出的是，MIQ大姐的歌曲曾经在大洋彼岸的美国大受欢迎，1994到1995年，她连续两年在美国东海岸举行演唱会，受到当地音乐迷的热烈欢迎和支持。一个原因是MIQ姐的英语水平出众，在高达0083里，由MIQ演唱的第二个片头曲《Men of Destiny》所改编的英文版《Oblivion》也是由MIQ直接演唱的，以日本人的一般水平来看，MIQ姐的发音已经是相当标准的了（不愧是早稻田的毕业生啊）！
